All items shown on this website are not necessarily on display in the Clayton showroom at all times. Prices: Some manufacturers do not permit pricing to be displayed on dealer websites. For the others who allow it, we usually will show a starting or estimated price. This is due to the varied options, sizes, finishes, etc. that may be available and may affect the price of an item. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding pricing, options, etc.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes! Gift Certificates can be purchased either in the showroom or by calling our Toll Free number: 800-550-SOFA (7632). The certificate can be mailed either to you or to the gift recipient. There are no fees associated with our gift certificates, and they never expire!
We currently do not sell merchandise on the Internet. Phone orders are available on most items, although we strongly suggest visiting the showroom first. If you have already made your decision, you can order most items by phone on our Toll Free number 800-550-SOFA (7632).
Doughty's can normally deliver in-stock merchandise in 3 days or less. Custom and special order merchandise can take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the item and manufacturer.
Doughty's delivers to the seven county South Jersey area as well as SE Pennsylvania, New Castle Co. DE and South Jersey Shore points.
All furniture is priced for pick-up. For an additional flat fee, we offer full service delivery. This includes:
Your delivery can be scheduled at the point of sale or at a later date with a call from us or our delivery service.
You will receive a call to confirm your scheduled delivery the day before and we will also provide you with a 2-hour delivery window. At your request, we can also call you at home or at work the day of delivery with advance notice of up to one hour prior to arrival.
Pick-Ups
Most customer pick-ups are completed at our warehouse located only 3.5 miles from the showroom in Clayton.
For insurance reasons, we cannot tie-down or otherwise secure your furniture. Please bring rope/tie downs and extra help for loading. See your salesperson or call for pick-up hours.
Most furniture is heavy and may require assembly. For these reasons, we encourage our customers to take advantage of our full service delivery.
Most of our competition does not offer layaway. Doughty's Furniture offers layaway as a convenience for our customers. Layaway for future delivery is available for select merchandise and situations. See your salesperson or call for details.
Your furniture will arrive in showroom condition at manufacturer's standards at the time of delivery. In the unlikely event it does not, our service professionals will repair or replace it at our option. We will service manufacturer defects-FREE OF CHARGE-for one year* from the date of delivery. In some cases, parts are available from the factory beyond the warranty period at no charge. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
Five-year warranties are available on most merchandise for an additional fee. See your salesperson or call for details.
* "Great Value" items carrry a 6 month warranty. Outlet and Clearance items are sold "as is." No warranty applies.
